MASTER'S OF ARCHITECTURE

The Master's of Architecture (March) is a professional 1 - 2 year degree in architecture, depending upon the pathway chosen, with both a thesis- and non-thesis option, qualifying the graduate to move through the various stages of professional accreditation (internship, exams) that result in receiving a license. This degree is typically open to applicants with a first degree in architecture, or with experience or an approved degree in an allied field acceptable to the department. At some architecture schools advanced standing may be granted to students who have some previous education in the field.

Master's students in architecture can pursue graduate architecture courses and majors in a broad range of fields of study such as Architectural Design

Part- and full-time study options, along with various delivery modes - residential programs, distance education programs and online programs - are also available North American Master's programs in architecture welcome foreign students. However, fluency in spoken and written English is critically important.
